what changes have YOU made and seen the biggest improvement in quality?

going aquaponic, throwing more light at them, letting them go for as long as possible (in wk13, probably going until wk15)

ph pens are for suckers with more money than sense

canopy managment indeed. I believe that you do not have to remove leaves if you manage your canopy properly. Might be why uncle ben (as much of an ass he is) gets away with preaching no leaf removal. If you grow an open plant like douchebag ben and trim it up a little then you don't have all that bullshit at the bottom getting blocked and light is able to got all around your ladies lower areas because you took the time to spread her open and train her when she was young. I wouldn't let her dry out either befor trimming that shits just a pain in the ass and you want to get that clorophyl the fuck away from here asap. good day y'all

I've realized that growing mary jane is like falling in love. There is no recipe for success. It takes patience and practice. You can follow someone else's advice to the T and still have f'd up plants (as I did). Like love, you must find what works for you. Treat her right and she would make you feel like you're walking on clouds. Cheers

Growing MJ is as simple as growing basil or a tomato plant. Grow it naturally, don't push it, use common sense and no gimmicks and it will produce extremely well.

I don't get it Ben what do you mean...sorry to be downon you but you are very confrontational in every thread I see you on. I posted in a thread agreeing with you a few months ago and even when I was on your side you came in the roomwith your ass up on you're shoulders so I'm not sorry if I offend you or speak ill of you, you bring it on yourself. Training your plant is what you do by topping I'm agreeing with your method, trimming when dry is a pain in the ass good day sir

I don't know why UB is "confrontational".. and I don't always agree with him in all matters pertaining (cannabis growing), but he is knowledgeable if you get past the persona.. And I learned a lot from him.

Honestly, I think its just in the delivery of his statements, I do think he means well --but his responses may not reflect that "taken as is"

ub gives some great advice over the years ive been growing and since i joined these forums, he always has advice for plant care and getting the most out your plants its worked out for me. on the other hand people should attempt to do stuff their self's. one of my most recent grows when i decided to re-grow berry bomb and blue missy i did everything (without advice from the usual suspects) i did 3 of each and in the end i got on on an average a half oz per plant for the bomb and just under an oz for the missy i only supercropped and by doing that it allowed more light to penetrate and got a good bounty for my time and that was 9 weeks flowering on both. i only use cfl lights and i put them in my cupboard so cutting the leaves is not an option since they give the plant the energy needed ever growing pro jorge cervantes states that your always best to leave leafs on unless they are dying or dead. doing this maximizes the amount of energy put into the ladies flowering and giving you some really awesome smoke.

I started listening to what Uncle Ben said and not how he presents it. Same with Swerve. Reading thru threads after a while you realize people are constantly negative. Not sure why but it sure isnt how people treat each other in the commercial plant bus. If you last as long on line as they do you would get a defensive attitude as well. Sure would be nice to see a little more positive support for them. They dont have to be public commenters...but it sure is nice.

Funny thing is I've been on roll it up longer than him and find myself defusing more ignorant newbies who come out thinking after they grow a plant they know it all and create an environment that makes people think growing is way harder than it is and a plant will die if you touch them wrong

I'm surprised that no one has brought up the fact that certain strains (indica/indica dominant) do not require the intense light penetration to make rock hard buds that some of the sativa's do!

1- Removing lower third of foliage
2- Mycorrhizae fungi
3- fewer, larger plants in larger pots (works for my setup. Your mileage may vary).

I introduce Love,,, Peace,,, and Tranquility in my room and noticed a huge difference in all factors that better harvests... Also,,, aerated compost teas,,, vertical lighting,,, foliar feeding,,, aeroponic grow,,, conversation,,, and music!!!
