Osmocote is not specifically formulated for cannabis so you need to monitor runoff for pH and PPM and adjust your water every time you water. Not the case with Grow Dots as it is formulated for cannabis. Now that's not to say you won't ever experience an issue but it works pretty well with Autos.

Replying to my own post because I've since switched to the Nova series that I wanted to try back then. BEST results to date! Still using Tupur coco. Currently using GH Flora Nova Grow & Bloom, Armor Si, CaliMagic, Floralicious Plus & liquid KoolBloom after week 2 flower. I'm using Diamond Nectar/humic additive in veg, but when I run out I probably won't get more, it doesn't seem to add any benefit with or without it so Im just using 2ml/gal until it's gone.

For whatever reason, I just can't seem to get away from using cal mag without getting an immediate mag deficiency, even when I pre-soak the pots of coco with 7ml/gal calmag at 5.9 pH to insane runoff. But so far the Nova Grow has held up best without added calmag, but still within a week of regular feed my leaves start getting tiger-striped. With Athena Grow A/B the deficiency would happen almost overnight or next day if no calmag was added, same with GH trio. Maybe my tap water just lacks it, I dunno, tap PPM is between 70-80 consistently.

Even if there was some magic NPK for cannabis what legitimate reasons can they justify hitting the market at such prices over Osmocote?
Is there some massive materials or labor cost to make a canna specific NPK?

6 pounds of 16-11-11 grow dots for $150 or 50 pounds of Osmocote 15-9-12 for the same.

These gougers can suck a gooey fudge pop hard.

I’m using jacks 321 or 4.2 base with 1.8 calnit with power si and fulpower. Also use recharge or floralicious hand water once in a while since it’s auto water

There are plenty of options, and everyone has their favorites. It may be helpful to check out Burlington’s favourite dispensary, it's a great source of information on all things growing. They will offer you the latest and most excellent nutrients there and share tips and recommendations from other local growers. Happy growing, I'm sure you'll have success.

Everyone, I'm doing a organic Super soil n my main amendments are going to be
Bat guano 7-3-1
Seabird guano. 0-11-0
Alfalfa meal. 2.5-0.5-2.5
Kelp meal. 1-0.1-2
Azomite. 0-0-0.2
Langbeinite 0-0-22 - is what I want to add for the extra potassium n Magnesium. It all Adds up to be alo more K= 10.5-14.6-30.5 Any Thoughts ???

Jacks pro 20-20-20 at 1\2 tsp. per gallon well water in sunshinemix #4 012 (1).jpgcomes out around 3-3-3.

The npk numbers are parts per 100. You need to find the average/mean, include the zeros to the dividing amount.
