what to do with Gangster Deer?

I second the dog idea. Get your rifle out and shoot a deer, gut it and let your dogs eat the meat, raw and natural. Leave it for them to pick at. Teach them to kill them fuckers and after they have nailed one or two deer on there own you should not really have to worry about the deer problems. Pits love to chase animals. I have a male and female and they love to chase deer when were out in the woods, they like to chase chickens Mexicans and cops to, so your covered on all bases.

you can purchase predator scents pretty reasonable . the deer wont come around where there is a coyote for example. or the scent of a coyote. or wolf.there not a big fan of dogs either.
if you grow outside dont use blood meal it will attract some animals to dig up your plant.

I've tried bars of soap and everything else you can imagine. The only sure fire thing is a good 6 ft. fence

Yep. I've tried it all and in my area in late summer when everything else is dead and yellow only a dog or fencing works.

And inverted fish line fence will keep out most critters meaning the bottom is closest to you plants and the top of the fence is farther away from the plants about 6 - 8 feet tall, paint the line with a flat black and green paint to camouflage the line. Make sure to make is a web of death and make is a tight as can be to keep out the rif-raf and make sure to leave a hole to get in and out of for yourself

This has worked for me in the past, good luck and stay green

bars of soap bro.
Not "just" soap, but Irish Spring.

For whatever reason, that particular brand works. Guess it must be the 'manly scent'.

It worked for me getting squirrels to move out of my attic.

It worked for a buddy with a large garden (~1/2 acre). Put it around my garden, but I didn't have a deer problem to begin with, so .........

Sure got rid of the squirrels though.

Cut into thin strips and scatter around.

Try planting in 5 gallon buckets and strapping them to trees, that's guaranteed, just don't get near any beehives. If you take a walk through the woods in the morning bring a paintball gun.. Or better yet, a 12ga.

well i decided to build onto my existing grow bags i have already made. the bottom part is already done. its 4' diameter and 2 1/2 tall. i already built them using 2"x4" welded wire fencing and 1"x2" welded wire fencing for the bottom of the cages. i lined the inside of the cages with weedmat (not the bottoms) and painted them camo. so now i'm going to extend the top of the cages another 4 feet higher with fencing. this way it will keep the deer away and when the plants get "huge" the branches will stick out of the upper part of the cage and give them something to rest on. this way i dont have to tie all the branches to the main stalk like i had to before (pain in the ass) if this dsnt work i'm just gonna get a medical card for each deer and grow their own plants for them ha ha. not sure if that will fly with the local law enforcement.

BTW I'm not sure what strain of plant that is i drew in the pic. it might be some kinda haggard sativa lol

just for the sake of argument... they use pellet guns to hunt boar in texas... kick ass pellet guns.. but still just a pellet air rifle...

but... you take a copper BB and a powerline 880 with about 5 pumps... shoot a deer in teh ass... they won't be back for a few days anyway.. and it won't give them lead poisoning

ok...

as for the rest of it... piss and shit from animals the eat meat, fishing line, dogs, fences(guerilla fence??), store bought products, human hair, killing them

yeah I'm not sure about the piss/hair/soap thing either. On one hand they say it "marks your territory" but I also heard arguements that animals, especially rodents, associate humans (human odors) with food and it actually ATTRACTS them. I've had success with moth balls and I always try to piss when Im at a spot. I guess it is hit or miss. Some spots were good, other times my sprouts were gone in a week. Even a fence isnt really gonna stop a deer if they want it bad enough, unless it's like 12 feet high...
i'd look into something known for scaring off deer...some type of urine.

maybe wolf urine would be good?

you'd have to google it further but that im sure would be an inexpensive way to repel them. or at least worth a try.

anyone try moth balls?
Moth balls combined with cow or pig blood (you can buy it at indian grocery stores if you have those around or possibly buy off the net?

I know they hate the smell of blood (death) you may attract carniverous animals tho...

i hunt i us fox piss to cover my human sent it doesnt scare deer and if the deer already come to ur home human sent wont bother them piss ect. deer in sub dont mind humans. dont plant before leaves are growing on trees and deer have something else to eat. i really dont have prob with deer its squirrels diging them up. snails and rabbits eating them. i put a motion cam on them to figure out what was going on. liqiud fence is the way to go they also make a gaurd with sea kelp works great.

Well being eaten by animals is my biggest worry. Even more so than being spotted by humans. I think I'm gonna go all out this year with soap, moth balls, and the fishing line fence thing. Anyone have any thoughts about pepper? I have an old bottle of pepper spray in my car that I might spray around the site, while hopefully not spraying myself haha. It's probably a good idea for me to carry it anyway because when I was out scouting the other day I saw fresh black bear tracks about 6" wide! I always knew there were bear around here and I've seen them a few times in the woods growing up and they always turned tail and ran. But I have to admit that the size and freshness of these tracks freaked me out a little. I've also read articles here about people making a cayenne pepper and water solution and actually spraying it ON their plants. I dunno if directly on the plants would hurt them but around the perimeter might be a good idea.
