Not sure we get those here. I've never seen them wild anyway. Used to be able to buy them I'm shops but got banned like 10 years ago. :(
Yeah I've never done them, they seem one step beyond for me. Alice and wonderland was written based on them tells you everything you need to know.

However spending some time in Amsterdam I didn't find any smart hash cakes. I was also told by a local truffle nutter not to smoke before taking them as it has counter effects. So maybe edibles may not be so great.

I'm still game for trying.

Classical music in the grow room...
Although this sounds like bro science as well as talking to your plants, I think there was a legitimate study they did on types of music having effects on plants, I dont think it was cannabis they were testing but I think they showed some results... Who knows... Ill try to find a link.

EDIT: Didnt finish reading the thread, seems someone already posted the link.

This 'myth' was initially started using a singer, since the person singing was exhaling co2, the plants which heard the song's did better.

That was sort of the line of thinking I had when hearing about "talking to your plants" having benefits... but i figured it wouldnt be a significant amount unless it was a small room, you stayed in there for awhile, and didnt have any exhaust or anything... even then it doesnt seem like enough...and dangerous tbh lol.

As for the music, I do remember watching or reading whatever it was that the classical music had the most positive effect, which was better than no music at all.

Im not sure how the tests were performed, types of plants or medium, environments or anything at all.. TBH idk how they would even test that with plants, it seems the timing would be too hard, they would have to keep classical playing for this plants life, rap for this one, rock for that one, no music for this one... and even then there would be too many variables even in similar environments with phenotypes, pests or just random things like grower error where it seems like it would skew the results.

Id have to go revisit the study before I give it any real significance, but it is interesting nonetheless.
Cheers.

I dont think its strictly classical music, but rather 'subsonic harmonic waves' or tones in the music. There is even this cool looking, overpriced machine to generate this, https://growershouse.com/biowave-mini-hydro-subsonic-harmonic-wave-machine

The weed in your stash pipe gets better with every bowl smoked through it
I used to want a stash pipe 30 years go

Imagine how gross that would be

Unlike generation joints, those are great. Nothing better than rolling a big wad of greasy tar.

Nothing wrong with that, especially when you're focused on mixing chemicals.

A good Bach or especially Vivaldi is great while processing things. Nothing like an acoustic earful of beauty while accidentally creating Silver Nitride ;)
Just pointing out there was that Mythbusters (RIP, Grant) episode where they played music for plants (forget what kind; not cannabis). Metal caused a noticeable increase in growth, whereas sad Country really did seem to depress them. So many factors involved I wouldn’t post it as a definite, but am curious what music people have played, or if they’ve recreated the experiment. I’m sure plants that are played Classical imbue a strong sense of focus and taste when smoked
Great thread. BTW, i’m a first year, second harvest grower with an open mind and some time and space to experiment.

Here's one. Smoking seeds will make you sterile. But it's already been covered here, lol.

Omg. Smoking a feminized seed will make you transgender.
