watered with the new nutes! half strength age old organics "bloom" and half strength fox farm "big bloom."

fired up a small oscillating fan pointed toward the bottom of the pots. take that gnats!

those narkush are so dense....i'm tempted to thin out the huge fan leaves.

bubbles look great.

k-trains still want to stretch......

cheers!

Hey those are looking awesome!! How far along are they? Trying to figure out why your leaf tips are curling down, did you take pics after you watered?

This is a small Ice scrog that I have going on under a 400 in a 5.2 sq ft area and the other pic is whats going on in the bud room....21 clones that are 5.5 wks in. They stand between 3.5 and 4 ft tall and totally lollipoped...the bottom 2/3 of each plant is stripped. They are keeper phenos from my tga run over the winter, but I'm not going to post them anywhere...I'll be damn if I sell anymore seeds for subcool after the prick stabs me in the back :)

Catch ya later man, enjoy the weekend

i use just plain old distilled water i get at the grocery store but any filtered water will do or even tap water as long as you let it sit out for the chlorine to dissipate. no heat. cool dark place is fine. after 24 hours if you stir them they should sink. that's good. that means they have soaked up some water and the seed casing is beginning to open. i never go much more than 24 hours in the cup of water. they always end up sinking. at this point i put them in the soil in 2 or 3" peat pots with something to cover them with - like a propagator. some people say keep the lights off some people say keep them on. i keep them off until i see some green. if you're using HID's don't make the mistake of putting the light too close at first. a CFL might be easier to begin with. 18/6 is fine. some people go 20/4 or straight 24. i put perlite in my propagator and put the pots in it and keep the perlite moist. i usually make the mistake of watering too much at first. some people use a heating pad on LOW or a seedling heat pad - i do - but some people don't recommend them.

that seems to work for me...it's not perfect...i always have some that don't pop or die shortly after sprouting the first leaves.

here, check this out:

http://www.dampkring.nl/7730/introduction.html?7730_sub_id=7731

i don't do this exactly like they do but it's similar.
Thx A Lot for Your Help bro Greatly Appreciated!! And im Really Liking The Bubbles Cant Wait!! Good Job...

damn this gro seems like it has taken forever! i vegged longer than usual and had some seedling failure at first which added another couple of weeks. finally seeing some girly looking buds and a slight bit of frostiness!!! :weed:

i chopped a couple of narkush leaves off which you can see in the beer bottle pic. i think i may remove a couple more of the big fan leaves from the narks. these are a real dense classic indica plant and the inter-nodes are pretty dark. i dont know if that makes a difference or not. maybe they get all the juice they need from the huge fan leaves. you can see in pic 8 the front and center narkush - it's dense and not much light gets under the top of the plant. however, i rotate them daily and when i water i move the whole bunch of them.

so far so good!

hi! took a bunch of pics tonight and i'll probably send a couple of posts to include them all. things look good. i inspected the top and undersides of leaves and see no bugs. still have a few annoying gnats. i see some spotting on some of the the bottom bubble leaves - attached a pic. not too worried about. every-time i've grown i get odd weird leaves. however i'm glad i switched to age old organics bloom just in case my soil is running out of fuel. so far stems look normal. no burning on the tips....

check out the 2 pics. i know those totally LOOK like bugs but they are not. i got the magnifier and checked them out and tried to smash them with my finger. not bugs! the spots correspond to the other side of the leaf.

more pics to come.

cool that i can attach so many pics with the new RIU.

there's a bit of "frost" happening and it's still early.

on the front right you can see the big narkush turning into what looks like a tall bud.

i have another set of pics coming.

it's always exciting to get to the last month without fucking anything up in a bad way.

these girls still don't smell at all. it's been hot here and thunderstormy and i can feel the humidity but i have tons of ventilation and air flow so not too concerned yet. my max temp is 80.

always interesting to see the differences between strains. i think i finally got the k-trains tamed.

thanks for listening!

my big bubble seems to have an increasing number of leaves that look like this.

i don't see any bugs on either side of the leaf. anybody got any ideas what this might be?

thanks

this is off another bubble! you can see the developing spots. i know it totally looks like bugs on the underside but i've checked over and over with my magnifiers and no bugs! unless the bugs do the damage and move on but i dont see bugs anywhere on the plants at all.

i do not see this sort of thing on the narkush or the k-trains. so that leads me to believe this is specific to the bubbles and not a bug problem. it also leads me to believe it may be a lack of nutrient problem. maybe bubbles need more of something???? and at this point i would have a tendency to really hit them hard with nutes and end up burning the shit out of them so i'm not going to do that this time!

it's odd because the bubbles look by far the best to my eye. the buds look very happy and are growing fatter every day and the fan leaves are reaching up up up.

perhaps i don't need to do anything at all.

Hey Dance whats up. Looks like your Bubble didn't like the Age Old Organics.....even though you only gave it half a dose, That is classic nute burn. They will be fine, just don't give them any more :)

thanks cave! i'm glad you mentioned this. i can't tell the difference between nute burn and nute deficiency and never quite know what to do. maybe the bubbles are sensitive in general to nutes? or maybe these specific nutes. i'll do like you suggested and not use the age old on the bubbles.

some pics from tonight.
pic1,2,9,11,13 - bubbles
pic 3,8,12 -k train
pic 4,7,14 - narkush
well,something like that anyway.....

the narkush are weird. i don't think i'd grow them again. the female parts are just buried in thick dark leaf material. hopefully the smoke will make it worth the effort.

i see some side branch buds on a the big bubble that have brown hairs already. way too soon!

i don't know what to think of the k-trains except they like to stretch and just tonight i untied them. if i grew them again i would top them for sure but unless the smoke is fantastic i won't be growing them again.

interesting that there's very little smell and there is only slight white frostiness going on with any of these.

according to my calculations, i have AT LEAST 3 weeks left. can't wait to finish this one! bongsmilie

chopped a couple of huge fan leaves off the narkush. wow, i wonder what these would do outside!

i am totally impressed with the bubbliscious. nice fat hairy buds getting bigger everyday. very similar to the kiwi skunk i grew, which was another great pot plant. (except for the smell!) i would certainly grow either of these again.

next time around i would like to grow another kiwi seeds strain like maybe mount cook. i'd like to grow a soma strain but the seeds are so expensive.
