Do You Accept The Theory Of Evolution?

fuck the big douche bag theory... how can you prove that? Let me see, anyone care to shed some light on the subject?

Just to play devils advocate here.. Evolution is just a theory.. That why its called the ''Theory of Evolution''. Just like the Big Bang Theory, its still just a theory cause you cant really prove thats what happened. It raises questions like what was before the big bang? Are these widely excepted in the scientific community? Of course but they cant REALLY be proven. There isnt going to be an AWWW moment like proving the earth is round. If you found a missing link skeleton you could easily say that it was a mutated human like the elephant man.

i like you.

you want to get together and....uh....cause some evolution? ;)

unless you got a really nice pussy and some matching tits, then i dont really swing that way ub...

furthermore, you did not even fully copy what i said. you missed the part where i said "i like you".

you suck so bad that you can't even do copycat correctly.

i'm glad we never made that evolution happen.

I think Evolution and Creationism should be taught in the same class.

Debate Class.

We would rid ourselves of religion within 2-3 generations. What a glorious day that will be, thank fucking God!

ahhh, the milkshake to the yard comment>... you really know how to get to a man's heart ub!!! you really know how to cut to the core of me ub!!!!

like really bro!!!!

I'm not quite sure the details of the "theory" of evolution. I know that things evolve and believe that we evolved from something more simplistic. I do not believe we were put here by some magical being who has total control over everything.

its called the theory of evolution, not the fact of evolution. call me john kerry but i sort of flip flop on this issue. their is a lot of great evidence, and in fact i do think for the most part it is true. imo i think animals did in fact evolve. their is a lot of proof that link them together. however the 1 big flaw i find is humans. they never have found the missing link unless you maybe you want to say maybe bigfoot silva. apes and such are just way too far off from humans, they never found an in between. if they do find that missing link, then facts are facts, i will believe it. its really hard to say for sure. what about all the other possibilities we dont yet know of?

its like the big bang theory, their is a lot of evidence to prove it. but their is also a lot of other valid theories out their with good evidence. im not talking about anything religious, but other scientific theories that also make a lot of sense. here is just one example http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2002/04/020429080540.htm their are many others out there. i dont see why the same wouldnt apply to evolution.

the missing link thing goes like this: there is a gap between thing 1 and thing 2. we find thing 1.5 to fill that gap. now there are two gaps, between 1 and 1.5, and between 1.5 and 2. we find things 1.25 and 1.75 and now there are 4 gaps....and so on and so on.

while the record is more complete than ever, the skeptic will say that it is less complete than ever, as it has more gaps.

not to rag on you or anything, but why do you think humans are so different from chimps or apes? i'd say we are pretty damn close. have ya ever looked into their eyes at the zoo? you can see something ticking up there.

if you believe animals evolved but humans didn't, then how do you explain our existence? again, not beating on you here, just asking.

not really cuz they were too busy trying to jack offf!!!! in public, mind you, but i have to agree with you... we are pretty identical in most of our features... from our brachiating arms, to being adapted for terrestrial terrain rather then arboreal living... although our slight differences such our grips is what sets us apart i think, chimps and apes have trouble with their precision grip due to the anatomical structure of their opposable thumbs... weak compared to human thumbs,,, but yea, we are similar, but i still dont think we did evolve from them or similar creatures.

It's called the "theory" of evolution instead of the law of evolution only because the religious majority would go ape shit if they called it the law of evolution.

Evolution is easily proven by the mutations of microorganisms, viruses, etc. They mutate and become resistant to treatments incredibly fast. We can watch it happen over a relatively small period of time.

Anyone with an indoor grow system who's had to deal with spidermites knows evolution is a fact. Try spraying them with pyrethrums over and over again and see what happens. You end up with a generation of spidermites that are resistant to pyrethrums right? Boom. Evolution.

Evolution takes a bit longer when talking about animals with a longer lifespan but the evidence is still out there. We have fossil records of many evolutionary steps in between people and chimps. Just because religious fanatics refuse to accept the proof doesn't mean the proof doesn't exist.

There are not other, equally valid counter theories out there to compete with evolution. There is one scientific theory which IMO has been proven, and then there are fables and mythologies with no supporting evidence what so ever. There is more evidence to support the existence of the tooth fairy than there is creationism. It is not a competing scientific theory. There is no evidence out there that legitimately contradicts evolution. And no, a book of fairy tales isn't evidence.

In that way, evolution isn't like the big bang theory at all. It's more like the theory of gravity.
