Harvest day is going to be tomorrow. The buds look like they are pretty much done. The breeder called for 60-70 days but I these girls will have gotten 78 days of 12/12.

I'll be popping Zombie Kush seeds tonight. The plan is to get another crop done then shutdown for July and August again.

I will start another journal for that run and closing this one once I get final weights and a review done for this grow.

I will be using my room for the drying process as it is the best place to regulate temps and humidity for drying.

Plants harvested, grow room cleaned and converted to a drying room and the plants hung.

Humidity and temp set to 65% & 65⁰f. Fan set to low. Should be dry in 10-14 days.

If I had to guess, I would say I will get about 2.5-3lbs after it all gets dried and trimed. Hopefully. :bigjoint:

Three drying racks set up. I usually get a pound per rack. The bottom 20% of each branch will be larf and will not be included in my final weight.

Things seem to be going well in the drying room. The plants don't seem to be drying too fast. Yesterday the humidity was all over the map. I couldn't maintain constant levels but that seems to have passed and now it is a lot easier maintain a more constant humidity level.

Drying Day 4

Snipped off the lowest larf I could find on the plants and rolled a joint.

It lit and burned ok. Not great but just ok. The taste was very pleasant and will more than likely be better in the bigger mids and tops but considering it has only been drying 4 days, it's not bad. Also it is surprisingly smooth.

So far I am picking up a very floral kushy taste but I am sure that will change as it dries. I think this crop is gonna be a winner.

So today the weed is dry enough to snap the smaller branches, so I snipped one off to try it. The bud is dry but is super stickey, had to use scissors to chop it up.

Super terpy, maybe the strongest smelling and tasting weed I have ever grown. This is a very strong strain but it needs to cure as it can make you cough if you take a larger toke. The ash isn't as clean as I would like but this too should sort itself out in the cure. The same thing happens to most of my crops, it reaches a certain point in the drying process, gets a dark ash and after a few days curing, it goes light grey. It scares me everytime I get to this point.

Gonna trim tomorrow and try them Grove bags to cure and store the weed in. Hopefully they work as well or better than the Integra Boost 62% humidity packs do. PXL_20230211_030705306.jpg

So 1,225grams/2.7lbs trimmed and bagged. Works out to 1.4gr/watt with my lights at 65% power. Definitely not as good as the 1.7gr/watt last grow but the quality is considerably better at the moment. We will see how it is after curing for a month or so.

This strain is very, very similar to zombie Kush but stronger in taste and THC. This could be the strain itself or it could be the changes in my gear and growing style or both. I am starting a zombie Kush grow right now, it will be interesting to compare the two strains.

The weed is very gassy tasting. The same gassyness you get in most high thc strains. But you can taste a death Bubba kushy note too. It's a very intense high with strong body stone effects. Surprisingly, there isn't much of a burn out which is rare from a hard kicking indica.

The burn of the weed is good, the ash is definitely lighter than it was a few days ago and I suspect it will only get better as it cures. It's ok now but could be a bit cleaner.

All in all though, I am very happy with this grow since it was only the second grow in this room and my first with an organicish living soil. I will definitely keep using living soil. It was so easy.

So after about a month curing, I can confidently say that the Kmints I just grew was probably the best weed I have ever grown. An absolute terp bomb! It smells amazing and burns very clean, very smooth. Probably top 5 for weed I have ever smoked in my 34 years of smoking weed. I highly recommend this strain.
