Purple, good or bad?

My outdoors are all growing nicely, roughly a week into flower. Noticed 2 bud sites that are turning a deep dark purple. Good or bad? Mold?

Afghan indica strain, the plant which is showing these traits grew much slower than its neighbors, but looks healthy.

In the same location roughly a month ago before any pre flower were even present I found two fan leaves which were the same color, assuming mold or disease I plucked them off.

Pics attached, advice appreciated.20200830_154020.jpg20200830_154036.jpg20200830_154101.jpg

Possibly genetics. Grew "slower" or shorter and stockier? Could be heavier indica pheno than its counterparts. Wouldnt be suprised at all comsidering it lineage. But yeah.. it could be mold.

Does not look like mold to me! Though something is eating your fan leaves.
most likely the pheno type. I would not pluck until you know it a negative issue.
my nights have been getting into the mid to upper 40’s days are in the 80’s. Cool nights will also trigger some pheno types to turn purple.

Constant war with the white wooley aphids over here, although I dont see em on leaves just stems. But yeah I'm gonna watch and see how they do, hope it's just pheno. Temps here are 80s in the day and maybe 50s at lowest right now at night

Look up purple top phytoplasma disease.
I second this. Id recommend treating for any and all insects you got going on because I believe that is the most likely vector for this disease to enter your plant.

Ive had small bouts of it before, I did as you did, cut the infected top/branch in my case, and never reappeared.
Although I've never had a plant die or even cause any significant damage from this, I did have a plant turn hermaphrodite on me that had multiple spots of it over different times during its long (6+ month) veg period... Im not sure if thats unrelated or not but may be something to keep in mind.
