You got it! My plan is to lift the 10gal lid with the plant and trellis attached and wrestle it into my flower box/room where an identical system will be set up.
I plan to have 4 of these bad boys in play at all times, staggered about 4 weeks apart so they can be harvested 2 at a time.
This is my first time going vert. I think I am going to like it a lot because the main problem I was having before was keeping a batch of vegging plants from getting too tall before it was time to flip. Couldn't just keep topping with the number of plants I was running or they would get too bushed out and overcrowded.
My system is my own RDWC concoction. I have been playing with hydro for a long time and just like tinkering with shit.
If you put a soil plant next to a hydro plant for 1 month veg you would be blown away!

The Sun Cloak really catches my eye and I am wondering if it would mate well with a system like this for growing things other than herb?
These guys are right up the road from me in Laramie, Wyoming of all places lol

Looks like they're doing some good work.

WHOA! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER USE FLORAMITE, EAGLE 20, AVID OR ANY OTHER PETROLEUM BASED PESTICIDE IN BLOOM, EVER!

Got it?! Good!

For spider mites, use Safer Insecticidal Soap, Mighty Wash, rosemary oil.
I know nothing about any of those products listed above or others mentioned previously in this thread.
Thank you!
I did not use a pesticide. It's a water based Neem. Highly diluted & works well. Not harmful & leaves no taste.
The compassion centers here test for pesticides & will not accept pesticide weed. They do accept bud that Quantum Apocolypse has been used on though. So, I tried to find the most effective safe product I could find & this is it. My gardens are fairly large & I cannot risk using a home-made pepper product or other DIY remedies that may not be as effective.
I did my best. If anyone has a better suggestion, I am open to it if it's feasible for me.
I know there are growers out there that don't care about their patients & will use pesticides. I do what I can to provide the safest alternative I could find.
Works every time.

Mighty Wash is probably the defacto way to get rid of mites in flower. You really should look into it. To me neem is a preventative not a solution as in you use it before you get the mites. Here's the ingredients to Mighty Wash:

Seen it at the store. I'll have to check it out. What do you think the inert ingredients are?

Happy Mothers Day to any Moms out there!

I've never heard a good explanation or met anyone that really knows. Finely ground diatomaceous??? IDK what it is really but I got a feeling, and this is just me thinking out loud here, that it falls between the cracks of the labeling system. Did you ever wonder how something that you eat or drink has zero calories? Of course it doesn't have zero calories but as long as it's less than 2% of the product the FDA allows labeling it as zero since something with such a low caloric count is basically useless as an energy supply for a human. I think this shit has some heinous crap in it but that it's at such a low content it's harmless to humans but still deadly to mites. Again though I don't really know what's in it. I've heard some wacky shit along the way. It may just be some basic chemistry biology thing that someone has figured out about mites. Bottom line, a shit ton of folks have used it and no one's grown a second head yet.

Results from The SunCloak 4416 in a 4'3"x4'x4' space:
568 g / 1.26 lb.
-.71 GPW
There actually was more material then this but it was popcorn & is being used for oil/wax.
I'm going to do another run & have better plants for the job. I know I can do much better then this with some properly vegged plants & a different strain possibly.
Good bud though! Very crystally, high in terps, & dense. That's one thing I noticed. Even the smallest lil buds were dense. I think I remember someone saying they were curious about that factor earlier in this thread. Allota medium size buds.
Great smoke, yes, even w/ the Apocolypse. Don't notice at all. I used a weak mix seeing how I was so far in & it worked.
Co2 averaged about 700-900 after having an AC issue & switching to the stand-up. Better then nothing, I actually grow at 850-900ppm in my HPS room & do quite well.
I'll be doing a follow up thread on this light again under better circumstances & my attention to the grow. So, stay tuned. The next grow will be far better!
Thanks everyone for being here & please don't judge this light to harshly from this grow as allot of it had to do with me & my plants.
Not to bad though. Recap, I last grew 2 GG#4's in a 3'x5' space (if divided) w/ 11-1200 watts of HPS & got 1.5 back. The Cloak gave me 1.26 @ 800w after week 2 of good bud. So I'm happy. Watch my work next time though! We'll see this baby pump it out.
Threads still open for chat & questions. Hopefully I can keep it going soon w/ the next grow. Building the new room now as this one was only for these led comparison test grows & is already torn down.
The Amare & SunCloak will be in this new room but deffinetly not the Hydroponics Hut as it did worse then you could imagine.
Hope this helps someone! Peace! image.jpgimage.jpg

i am running gorrila glue 4 and majority medium buds.girl sclout cookies majority medium buds, grape god majority medium buds.when i was running sour diesal i was getting majority bigger buds.the hybrids i usually run that stretch the way i like give me loads of medium buds.i prefer medium buds.it is easier to dry with no problems.when i do grow bigger buds i usually break them up anyways before drying to not have any problems.my humidity is usually 40 to 55% in my grow and drying area.the humidity is usually closer to 55% then 40 though.
