Oh, okay. and I don't have a 100% answer/reason yet.. but I'll probably start them off on 1/8th nutrients and work from there. Hopefully someone who knows hydro a bit better can help coach me with the drip system questions.

hi mate, dont know massive amounts about it all but can tell you my veg room with cheese in it does smell a bit, not much though. Fair play for jumping in full bore with the hydro, i'm sure u'll be alright with the guys on here helping ya, i've learned loads. good luck bro

Thanks a lot... I'm at a pretty important phase with adding my nutes, and I'm waiting for the expert to come along and coach me a little... hopefully they'll show up!

lol i always use less than what it says on the bottle. if there really young a lot less than u'd think sorry its vague but u'll learn how much by doing it, just dont over do it and u'll be ok mate

Yea, they're only 8 days old... so I'm wondering if I even need to add any @all...or if I just just put them in soaked rockwool for the night... they need to get out of that dome A.S.A.P.

i would just let them get a lil bigger then do 1/4 nutes then go up from there or even lower if you would like

Do you think I should put them in the rockwool yet?

And if I put them in the rockwool... should I just be watering it w/o nutes until they get to that 3rd node?

I've never really messed with hydro but i would say that they are good to go into the rw and i wouldn't start nutes just yet wait till about the 3rd or 4th node then do 1/8 , 1/4 the nutes, seedlings don't need much and i'll find someone who does alot of hydro and givem your link

that kinda looked like a typo?... you would?
And 1-2 inches from the plants okay 4 the light?
and someone told me to water them every time they become 75% lighter from when they 100% soaked... is that a good watering method to try to get the drippers to follow?

yes i would have them in the rock wool becasue the roots are growing out of the plugs. and i would start a few inches above with the light and then work your way down to see how hot they get. and not sure on the watering thang

this grow is your test run to get everything dialed in practice makes perfect and you learn from your mistakes and like i said ill try to get a hydro guy in here asap

np man your doing good i wish i had 2000 watts for my first grow =) would be fin awsome. i sent a pm to a guy i know who gave me an idea on how to make my own drip system asked him to stop in and answer a few of your questions

Let's hope the 2000 watts pay off, most people would say to start with soil and a 400 watt light... I always like to do it big, and do it right the first time... now just striving for the "doing it right" part...

thats a good way to be you will end up growing the best shit you ever smoked just because it's yours and you don't gotta buy it thats the whole reason i started i only got 4 outdoor grows and 1 indoor grow almost 2 and thats with cfls i dream of an hps just don't have the place for one right now but i will this winter thats why im trying to get more educated people in here to help ya out lol i can only say so much the rest is just what i have heard or read or seen sorry im in a zone

First off, I'll start short and simple... What Ph should I soak my rockwool cubes in? the packaging says 5.5 w/ 1/2 strength nutrients.... but what would you recommend, and for how long? 30min, hour?
