Help, hermie issues

After growing 8 successful grows with no real issues, the last 4 have had to be chucked due to turning hermie.
Have tried a different strain then went back to the norm and it keeps happening. Nothing had changed as in nutes and light and feeding systems. Have checked for all the obvious stresses too.
Taped up even the smallest pin prick of light
Temp has been constant between 25-28
Water temp is around 18 for each feed
No pests or bugs
No over pruning or training always done gently and over a few days in veg.
Not pot bound or rotting roots.

Am at a total loss please help...

You have pretty much left only one variable. Genetics. I grew 4 pineapple Express and 3 of them hermed. A few popped before I noticed them so I've got plenty of herming pineapple Express seeds. Ended up with less than 10 seeds per plant. I don't know why everyone goes straight for the choppy choppy, when one of their girls goes butch. I got high for 20 years on some decent weed with seeds. No, it's not ideal, but when does less than ideal mean sacrifice your work, not to mention the life of your plant.

What lights are you using? Could they be getting old? Even LEDs wear out.
Thanks for the reply, I did think genetics but all the seeds were from Dinafem who I have faith in and also it happened to two different strains glookies and critical cheese so I thought the likelihood was slim. As for the lights, bulbs have been replace between grows but not the reflectors, but I have cleaned everything really well with a weak bleach solution each time too so I’m dubious about that. But your right it could be either of those and just a terrible coincidence that it keeps happening.

Yeah, I've heard of dinafem, not really heard anything bad. You may consider alcohol or peroxide for cleanup. Could be a residue thing.

Have you ran any of their older strains?

POWER KUSH
CRITICAL+
MOBY DICK
AMNESIA

I grow critical+ almost every grow I have some in the room.

it’s supposedly a 55 day flower time. Yeah ok lol. Considering I like mine to go to around 68-75 days And also considering when I first started growing CRITICAL+ it was sold as a 65-70 day flower period lol.

during the length of time I take mine I always get a few bananas forming late on in flower.

my plants are always healthy and there are no light leaks etc in my room.

sometimes plants throw out bananas as a last ditch effort to reproduce. (Rhodilisation or something I think it’s called)

this is very different to being a HERMIE.

Hermies grow both male and female parts.

bananas are just male flowers and not the full sacks of pollen.

I would try some of their older lineage of gear as I mentioned and see if it still happens.

after all light leaks are resolved you also have to factor in LED’s etc on extension cords and such.

Thanks, i will look into them especially if you think they may be more resiliant. Defo hermies and not just nanas lots of balls and seeds in the buds. Was only in week 4 of flower this time too so pretty sure the hadn't gone into survival mode. And have all extension leads outside so not light leaks at all, have zipped myself in for 20 minutes to adjust and couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I guess its just try again and see how we go, going to do a deep clean and get an air purifier just incase any pollen is hiding and surviving! Its my last idea.

I've read about sinsemilla Male flowers, how would one determine the difference. 3 of my 4 girls had Male flowers when I harvested them. There weren't a lot of them but I did end up with about 10 seeds from each on m of the plants that had Male flowers on them. Would they be sinsemilla?

Sinsemilla just means without seeds. Plant some of the seeds. You might be surprised.
