I am not saying what light is better, they both produce but sometimes $25-$50 can really be a difference to some just starting out.

You know what every situation is different I chose the Mars cuz I wanted the extra wattage, and am thrilled w it's performance

exactly. And ive seen videos where people did extremely well with the 150w mars . White light just penetrates better . QBs are superior

I saved up little by little to buy everything I own. I knew at the time I wasn't buying the best light on the market. I am glad I did though. That's why I saved up for the bigger light and eventually for another one over a year. I haven't had any problems with my lights at all and I am growing beautiful plants under them.

My last run I pulled about 9.5/16 under 300W in a 3x3 of Cobs so kind of similar. I had 2 plants go male out of 4 as well. I think i would’ve hit real close to the pound but I never got the 3x3 full in any of my 3 runs sadly.

That’s 3x the sqft. I don’t think it would be enough. 300 in a 3x3 is already right near the lower end of where I’d recommend.
