So far, I tried synthetic fertiliser once and it didn't work, the rest of the waterings I've been putting organic stuff in.
The algae bloom booster has a lot of microbes, micro nutrients and amino acids that aid the roots in supplying the plant with nutrients, also the liquid worm fert has humic and fulvic acid along with microbes that decompose organic matter and feed it to the roots.
If they regulate the ph, why does it matter to ph every watering?
If the soil becomes too acidic, wouldn't a higher ph water help to make it more alkaline?
Btw my tap water is pretty hard, loaded with calcium, magnesium in majority and other trace minerals, that's why i havent considered adding cal-mag.
your microbe population is lacking and your probably feeding them wrong and not watering in at 6.5 those new pics today look kind of burnt so thats my opinion. Then its the lighting if the roots are ok. I doubt it s the lighting. Dont know what the algae bloom booster is. I dont test my soil i just dont need to so I dont know about all of that stuff. i think that they became sick and you kept watering them and now theres an issue with that. Maybe let them dry out and water a little less more often and let things mellow and practice on your watering tenique with proper nutrients in the correct ratios and let them finish out.

I was gonna go without nutes as well but someone told me that the plant will use up most of them the first 4-6 weeks so i got worried..
I guess you're right, so from now on, i think I'll give her plain water and maybe a bit od molasses now and then untill harvest.
Thanks a lot for the advice, let me know how yours turns out with FFOF only, and maybe post a picture or two .

Thanks to everyone for the advices, if you have anything else to add, i would very much appreciate it. :bigjoint:
My pleasure - but be aware that I'm a noob too - only on my second grow in this tent.

When I read the FFOF made simple on my last grow, I grew two plants with FFOF & water only - they came out good.
The 4 other plants that were top dressed 2X with Dr Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 turned out great. So I learned that Nutes aren't bad.

This round, my OG's seem to be hungrier than my other plants, so I'm forced into learning more about feeding. :bigjoint:
I top dressed with Dr. Earth All Purpose 2-2-2 at full strength last night to see if I get a growth spurt.

Flipping to 12/12 soon, then I'll top dress with 1/2 strength Flower Girl.
If they like it, they'll get full strength 2-3waterings later.

Bernie420 is giving some great advice - I'm reading this thread with a lot of interest - I know that nutrients can help plants live up to their genetics, but overuse can spell disaster.

Well, somehow, with trial and error, i managed to get near the grand finale.

What do you think? How does it look? How long do you think i have till harvest?
I check the trichomes now and then, they were mostly clear and some cloudy on the calyxes about a week ago.
Since it's my first grow, i don't know when to harvest, little help?

The calyxes on mine still look small, from what i see on other grows, they are pretty much swollen up at this stage (10 weeks into flower).
Should i wait till i see that?
I'm afraid I'll harvest late and not get the desired effect, but at the same time if i harvest early will lose on weight and quality.
The purple colour is due to the low temps i suppose, some days they dropped below 50°F, but lately i usually keep them around 60-70.

Any advices from this point on will be great, thanks a bunch for the massive help along the way! :hump::bigjoint:

That is a fine plant sir! Congrats on getting this far and on not chopping it down the second it looked extremely smokable. Holding off and reevaluating in a week won't hurt anything, sometimes the changes come fast and furious and sometimes they never seem to change. You're doing great!
