That's a damn nice greenhouse. You need to load your bender into your truck and drive out here to Portland and build one for me.

I just have a cheap Shelter Logic that isn't providing me with all the uses I need. I need something like yours that's sealed up and I can put some heat in late winter/early spring. I'm looking to build a 10'x8'. I downloaded your pictures for future reference. I hope you don't mind.

Love the planter boxes under the windows. :peace:

This is what will be growing this season in some combination yet to be determined. I’m especially excited about the Cream & Cheese 1:1 CBD:THC.

Germinate end-ish April and in ground first week of June.
You might as well pop all of them, then thin out if you have issues, it's always better to have extra,if all work out you can hunt your fav. phenos ,if some Fup then your also covered it's win/win.ccguns

Yeah, I'm envious that is a KILLER GREENHOUSE, I guess it would advertise what I do to much in my hood though, but if I was more rural I'd ask for blueprints.ccguns

thx, no worries man, if you ever have any questions just let me know, love to help... this is the first year I'm ready grow right out of the gate ... the first year I built it around my grow, and then last year I had to rebuild it first... so it's been really nice this year to have a head start ... it holds the heat from the sun really well, I haven't had any frost issues even going into mid-november, but I do start running out of daylight ... same in the spring, the greenhouse was 87 degrees today and I could easily plant out right now... but there's not enough daylight this time of year to keep them in veg ... I'll be waiting until May 1 to plant out, and even then will keep a supplementary light going to extend daylight for a few weeks.

My cover crop is coming in really nicely so far and I got my mantis eggs set out a cpl days ago... It's also a great time of year to flower out males without worrying about seeding up the whole neighborhood...

I've grown both the Gelat.OG and Peyote Zkittlez ... the gelat.og I grew indoors and harvested about a month ago ... it was pretty good, solid nugs but it wasn't the best yielder ... I grew the PZ with a group of people on a private forum as a group grow. Mine was a seed I started last july and just let it run in a pot in the greenhouse... i wasn't impressed at all but some of the other guys had better luck than I did .... one common theme was that they stretch into very lanky plants and are finicky with nutes.... you may want to supercrop heavily to provide support and also stake them well ... here's a picture of mine in mid-october ... i never got any pictures of the dried bud... I smoked a cpl joints of it and wasn't impressed at all so I threw it into the hash pile

Here's a shot of a finished PZ bud from one of the other guys on that forum ... he was more impressed with it than I was...

I think @Nizza is growing it now or did recently... he may have more insight on the strain for you
hey brother
I never got to fully grow one of the PZ~ I had one going but had to cull it because I ran out of space. I still have some beans but I think they're messed up because I left them out, but I have only tried two more times to germ it. I was going to send half the pack to a friend and left them out on accident and now they may not be viable
Yeah the PZ looked pretty stretchy, I really liked growing out the peyote gorilla and am going to give the PZ another shot soon

How are you doing bro?? I bet you've been really busy, good to see you and I'm really looking forward to seeing your grow this season man!
Oh yeah are you doing any crosses this time around?

Anyone ever seen this? The seedlings were doing great and over night the leaves turned white and died
I'd say they croaked due to a dampening off,(too much moisture) your not alone w/this problem, I've noticed the last couple yrs. that the seeds bought from breeders (mostly polyhybrid and many fems) are not displaying no where near the vigor of old school bag weed seeds. I basically never go into my grow now expecting to get 1plant for 1seed it just doesn't happen now. The initial germ/seedling stage has become a babysitting pray to God type of deal until you get to your first set of true leaves W/a established grow tip.I now start extra seeds to compensate for this.ccguns

The photo is a bit out of focus, could you post another? I wonder what soil are you using?
Peat moss mostly with a little coir. His isn't my plant but t h gas what the leave looked like before it curled up an died. My phone isn't focusing that well so it's hard to show the little ones

My camera isn’t that good , the leaves were fine and then all the sudden the green started to leave and turn into white. The after the white they shrivel up and die. This happened to all 40 of my seeds

Nizza my man... yes lots of crosses this year ... I'm testing a Bubba Hash x PBB now... and I have a bunch of Shoreline (Shoreline Genetics) males in the greenhouse now, but i think i found my keeper... I'm gonna cross the Shoreline to a few different females... Shoreline (Devils Harvest), Bubba Hash, Skunk #1, and Unicorn Poop ... rotten terps are what I'm hunting for this year, I'm going all skunk, dead body, diesel, etc... .

I'm not getting down the cape much lately, but should be a lot more once foreclosures start back up ... I'll hit you up next time I'm heading down and bring you some cuts/beans.

Damn that sucks.

How did you prep the grow medium? pH might be way out of spec.

I've been forced to use a 50/50 mix of good organic seed starter mix and coco-coire. Too hot with all my other blends. No issues since. Just mist daily. Or keep moist. Dries fast. LOL.

I'm not sure about the rest of you guys, but I'm so ready to move on from 2020. It was a great season from a growers perspective ... most of us had more time at home to spend in the garden, and we had outstanding fall weather ... but everything else pretty much went to shit, and so I'm excited for 2021.

As usual, I learned a few new lessons from last year...

The first is I definitely need help when it comes to harvesting and trimming in the fall. I tried to do it all myself this year and it was a complete nightmare. I basically spent 6 weeks straight trying to get everything down and cleaned up... and I still probably only got to about 50% of it. I froze the rest, and I'm still working on washing it all.

The second lesson I learned is that I don't need twelve foot plants this year. It's just stupid and too much work. This year I'll probably get them in the ground a little later (about may 15th) and just shoot for ten footers. ..lol

The third lesson is that I don't need any outside inputs whatsoever. Last summer I discovered KNF and I ain't going back. I can basically source every nutritional component my grow needs from my own backyard, or from waste. It may not be feasible for someone without some land to work with, but if you have some room it's a no-brainer.

The good news is that I've been through a few healthy snowfalls so far, and the greenhouse isn't going anywhere, it's still standing strong with the new steel hoops. That was last years lesson... don't ever, ever build a greenhouse with pvc hoops in Massachusetts. It'll be nice not to have to rebuild the entire thing this year, so I can move onto some upgrades. I'll be adding 4 circulation fans in all four corners so I can get the fans off the ground this year. I'll also be adding a watering system for each bed... watering every few days from a hose is kind of a pain in the ass. It'll be nice to just hit a button on my phone and that'll be taken care of. I'm also adding another window at the far end of the greenhouse... I originally framed it for a third window but only had two laying around at the time so I just covered it with plastic.

At the moment I'm pheno hunting indoors to find this years keepers. I have a few of my own crosses I'm searching through and a few new breeders i'm excited about. Everything will be new strains though, I'm not keeping anything around from last season.

What are your plans for 2021?

Here's what it looks like out there today....

Truer words never spoken. Start mass producing your " living art work" , like doing piece work, and the fun/excitement ( to me) dissipates rapidly. Now , ya gotta a gd job and not that fun magical place, your sanctuary.. Great lesson. Now if ya need the green to make green then your going be a busy beaver.

Is the plastic painters drop? I’ve been looking for a cheaper plastic that will actually work
no and I wouldn't recommend using cheap plastic, even for a temporary structure ... greenhouse film has an anti-condensation additive .... without it you'll have condensation forming on the inside and dripping down onto the plants ... you'll end up with an RH nightmare

I didn’t prep it unfortunately. I just mixed peat with coir and was waiting till the next transplant to add stuff. So I’m deff thinking that’s where I messed up. I wasn’t sure what to add to seedlings. I bought so many dried amendments too.
